Painful truth
“Wax job” isn’t on most men’s lists.
However, most men start losing the hair on top of their head about the time they start growing it in other places. Noses and ears, for example. Legendary Sparta barber Adam Struble now offers ear and nose wax jobs for those ready for such luxuries.
“It (wax job) only stings for a bit”
Struble is a welcome and familiar staple in the Sparta, Missouri community of 2,000 people and 5,443 stray cats. Many menfolk get their hair needs met under his skillful hand, and enjoy perks, like an electric back massage at the finale of each haircut!
But the uniqueness doesn’t stop there.
Struble offers ear and nose hair removal.
A macho version of the ladies’ spa where they get the upper lip, underarms, legs, and “you-know-what” hair removal.
“It only stings for a bit,” Struble says as he gently applies bluish, warmish wax on sticks resembling tongue depressors or popsicle sticks. The sticks, stuck to the wax on one end, are placed on the ears and nostrils.
Each job (ear or nose) is just $2, a winner of an add on for most men over 40 something.

This author got his first nose and ear wax job (no, not that earwax!) and looks much better than he did beforehand. There was enough nose hair residue on the wax stick to make a wig for a half-grown mouse undergoing chemo!
