OZARK, MO — Anthony Petrosino is the real deal. He doesn’t mess around with political jargon. He says what’s in his heart.
“I like that Tony guy,” a friend of mine told me after listening to Anthony speak at a citizens group in Ozark recently. “He didn’t come in all scripted and makes me feel it’s coming from his heart.”
“He’s the real deal,” I replied.

For Anthony “Tony” Petrosino, running for school board wasn’t on his list when he moved from California in 2018. He just wanted to get away from liberal politics and higher taxes. Things only got worse in California.
Tony ain’t full of baloney
Anthony was speaking as an Ozark school board candidate Monday at Godfather’s Pizza. A couple of women in the audience questioned him. “What do you mean about ‘those things’ in our schools?” one woman asked in a sneering tone.
Tony didn’t hold back, letting the woman know he was against the agenda to corrupt children with sexually explicit library books, Critical Race Theory, and other woke liberal nonsense such as pushing an LGBTQIA+ agenda.
“Schools should focus on academics; not social conditioning,” Tony said.
The rest of the room agreed with Tony. “You’re wrong, we’re right,” Johnny Rooster said to the woman and her female sidekick, who were obviously in favor of the woke agenda to corrupt kids. Most of Ozark is still conservative and wants moral values from the Bible, not woke make-it-up-as-you-go crap.
