Nobody wants to go to public school. It’s a feeling of dread for students. They cringe at the site of the big, cheddar rectangle on wheels.
The smell of the building upon entry. The slamming of lockers. The rows of desks. The sight of smart boards and chrome books.
Eww.
Teachers, in particular, don’t wanna be there. Click here for an article about that. It’s demoralizing to be subjected to a system that ultimately sees you as expendable. Students aren’t trying. Who can blame them? The system sucks the energy from learning.
Public Education hampers learning.
And, it’s NOT for lack of funds, y’all.
Public Education is fat with tax dollars. Nixa and Ozark schools enjoy millions in new money each year as property values skyrocket, forcing property owners to pay fatter school taxes. Click here for an article about how Ozark treats its teachers.
In my district (Chadwick) my personal property taxes are in the $45 range yearly, while all the other taxes combined on my tax bill are a few bucks total. It’s absurdly out of balance. If I had kids enrolled in the Chadwick district, I should pay a set fee per student.
Being a property owner with no kids in the school shouldn’t put me in the position of paying the majority of taxes to the school.
Amendment 2 is a money grab
This Amendment 2 thingy is stupid. A money grab from the government, saying they’ll dump funding into the schools. They’ve done that, and it’s not working! Hello, McFly! More money is NOT producing better outcomes in our schools!
Amendment 2 is a sports gambling fixation masquerading as an educational boost. Poppycock! Balderdash! Baloney!
A big, fat NO vote on 2. Stop supporting a greedy government that lies about where the money is going. (Remember the Missouri Lottery was supposed to help education? HA!) Why is it always gambling that attaches its greedy head to education for the front smear job?
It’s like a mafia ring fronting as a jewelry store, or an Indian restaurant fronting a brothel. We all know it’s going on behind the scenes. Come on, voters, wise up! Vote NOOOOOOO!!! And run, screaming from the building, just like the teachers are!
The correct answer is…
The answer? Two words. Private Education.
That includes HOME SCHOOL and CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS. Yes. I am a product of both. (I turned out amazing!)
For a reference tro back me up, look at a $5 bill.
Or if you are too broke, look at a penny. Who’s face is on it?
Yep. He was homeschooled!
