OzARK, MO — Not sure if popcorn will be allowed, but if you’re up for a good courtroom drama, come see The City of Sparta vs. Johnny Rooster at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 20 in Judge Doug Bacon’s courtroom in Ozark, MO.

Courtroom Drama Plaintiff

Former Sparta Mayor Jenni Davis, known for being dramatic and throwing a hissy fit if she doesn’t get her way.

She lost the election in April due to Johnny Rooster’s Christian County Trumpet articles daring to question her motives.

Rooster asked her what lies she claimed he was spreading that cost her the election.

Mayor Davis replied, “Don’t ever try to contact me again!”

Of course, this was on a personal Facebook message outlined in previous Christian County Trumpet articles. Look them up๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿซฃ!

Mad Mayor Davis lost the election bigly. Johnny made her so mad, she blamed him and filed 4 counts of harassment against the Christian County Trumpet publisher.

God and the Judge knows what will happen Thursday. Get an early seat๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ!

Courtroom Drama Defendant

Johnny Rooster, publisher of the Christian County Trumpet, a voice for Christian County taxpayers and voters.

“I’ve never met Jenni Davis, but I’ve heard more than a few stories, ” Rooster said in a recent press conference as cameras flashed and reporters thrust microphones in his handsome face.

“I printed all the text messages between us, so there’s no secrets here,” he continued, pausing to sign an autograph on a basketball player’s Sparta Trojans jacket.

“I know how trivial certain lawsuits can be. I feel sorry for the judge and the cops who have to babysit the public. But the real losers,” Rooster waited as cameras captured his every move. “The real losers are the taxpayers who have to pay for court cases like this!”

The Outcome

Johnny Rooster is hoping for a reasonable outcome, where the judge recognizes the frivolity of the case.

Rumor has it the ex mayor is hoping for a windfall financial decision in her favor so she can be Queen of a Sparta City Parade in her honor. She may even get to celebrate National Jenni Davis Day on the anniversary of the court decision, should it go her way!
