Johnny Rooster, publisher of the Christian County Trumpet, a voice for Christian County taxpayers and voters.

“I’ve never met Jenni Davis, but I’ve heard more than a few stories, ” Rooster said in a recent press conference as cameras flashed and reporters thrust microphones in his handsome face.

“I printed all the text messages between us, so there’s no secrets here,” he continued, pausing to sign an autograph on a basketball player’s Sparta Trojans jacket.

“I know how trivial certain lawsuits can be. I feel sorry for the judge and the cops who have to babysit the public. But the real losers,” Rooster waited as cameras captured his every move. “The real losers are the taxpayers who have to pay for court cases like this!”

The Outcome

Johnny Rooster is hoping for a reasonable outcome, where the judge recognizes the frivolity of the case.

Rumor has it the ex mayor is hoping for a windfall financial decision in her favor so she can be Queen of a Sparta City Parade in her honor. She may even get to celebrate National Jenni Davis Day on the anniversary of the court decision, should it go her way!
