OLDFIELD, MO — You’ve heard the saying, “all good things must come to an end.” Well, friends, fans, and enemies, it’s time to say: Farewell.
I began publishing the Christian County Trumpet in mid August of last year. Since then, the blog site has seen approximately 46,000 views from nearly 19,000 visitors from around the world.
Thank you again for all your support and love.
Why am I leaving?
I’ve taken a new position at The Springfield News-Leader, which will be announced Monday. I’m going to be writing an op ed piece each week, among other duties. My opinion from a conservative point of view will be a welcome relief to the liberal dogma promoted by that inexcusable excuse of a publication.
I’ll finally be playing in the Devil’s playground and there won’t be a thing ol’ Scratch can do about it.
Thanks for reading the Christian County Trumpet. I truly hope all the conservatives out there will keep fighting the good fight.
