OZARK, MO — Everyone knew all the Who’s down in Ozark needed substitute teachers. It was on their Christmas wish list. Indeed, Ms. T was a substitute teacher there last year. Qualified to teach? Oh, my yes! High school, college, you name it, she taught it! Years and years worth (even though she still looks young enough to be a student!)
Well now, with the shortage of substitutes announced loud and clear at Ozark Schools again this year, Ms. T decided to help once again and pitch in to sub.
But, this year, The Grinch of Ozark, Dr. B, would have none of it.
Dr. B and Ms. T had a round about publicly at a board meeting in February. So, the Grinch held a grudge. A grudgy, grinchy thing to do.
And, Ms. T, though she doesn’t need the work, was willing to help, in a school with a decided deficit of teachers. But again, as stated before, Dr. B showed Ms. T the door!
This is an all too telling story of a Grudge Holding Grinch, a decidedly hostile tyrannical leader of sorts, Dr. B, whose full name is Dr. Chris Bauman, you see. And, as for Ms. T, her name is Christina Tonsing.
Folks will be talking about these unusual times indeed. The times when qualified teachers are denied based on hostile grudge holding leadership.
Shame, shame, kids! Let’s learn to do better than our school leaders in Ozark, shall we?
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
