NIXA, MO — Anyone in Christian or Greene Counties can now get new tires installed while they’re at work or home!
“We’re the only mobile tire service with a touchless tire changer in the 417 area,” says owner Josh Hart of Nixa. TreadRight Mobile Tire was established a year ago as a family business. Josh, a coach and instructor at Logan Rogersville Middle School, operates the business with his wife, Stephanie, and in-laws, Steve and Laurie.
Father-in-law Steve is on standby full time to bring the service van to a residence or place or work, or any public area convenient for the customer needing new tire installation. All four tires are installed in the service to make it worthwhile financially.
“Our prices are comparable to getting them done at a tire shop, and when you consider the convenience; it’s a win-win for the customer,” Josh told the CCT.
The bright yellow and black service van is hard to miss. “The only thing we don’t do is roadside assistance.”

My story
My phone rang. “This is Josh Hart of TreadRight Mobile Tire,” the voice on the other end said. “Are you Johnny Rooster?” I swallowed. Was this a prank? “Yes,” I answered, somewhat apprehensively. Was this an angry Ozark school patron or disgruntled Sparta resident?
“You’ve won a $100 discount for our new tire mobile service!” Josh announced.
Was this a rigged deal?
Josh assured me it was not. “Woo Weee!” I shouted. (Being a Rooster, I should have crowed, but I lost my head in my excitement!)
I arranged to meet Josh and his big yellow and black service van at the Ozark Walmart parking lot to receive my gift certificate. Josh was more than willing to travel to my suggested location; after all, that’s exactly how he does business!
