Embarrassing questions for Ozark School Board Town Hall meeting October 25

OZARK, MO — The Ozark Board of Education is hosting a Town Hall meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Ozark High School auditorium.

It’s supposed to look like a public Q & A so they can feel good about being open to public comments.

In reality, it’s a stage show with ONLY pre-packaged and approved questions submitted via e-mail in advance of the 1 hour short meeting.

Hardly more than a publicity stunt.

If they would take ACTUAL QUESTIONS from the public, what would you ask them? Put your questions in the comments below.

Here are some of ours (since they don’t allow naming individuals in the Town Hall Forum, moderated by their buddy the President of the Ozark Chamber, we pose them this way:

  1. Why do you allow a school board member with a record of DWI and another board member with an assault charge to remain on the board?

2. In addition to the two cases in #1, why wasn’t one of your current board members charged with a crime for his hate mail to another county elected official during the 2020 election while he was president of the school board?

3. When was the last time your school district was audited by an authorized outside source?

4. Why did you start communicating about a mold problem in the middle school after you heard that the Christian County Trumpet might be reporting on the issue?

Those are some of ours: what are your questions for the board of education in Ozark, MO???

  1. I think these are great questions, and I can’t wait to see the answers posted on the District website. (They promised that “all questions will be answered and then posted here.”
